This is a Lexus car model I Lit and shaded in Maya using mental ray and tried to make it fit into the background image. The car is not modelled by me and it is a CAD model.

Baby Plant Subsurface Test

This is a baby plant and pot I modelled/textured/shaded and tried to do some subsurface test on it. Used Mental ray for lighting/rendering.

Makita_Drill_04

Thought to put in tiny chromatic abberation and some film grain. Took a still of the render from a slight different frame also. Above is just the setup of the nodes comped in Nuke and I done all aspects of this project.

Guardians of the galaxy Trailer

Here is the first trailer for Marvels Guardians of the galaxy that came out, It is also one of the other film projects I got to freelance on with nice colleagues at Plowman Craven doing some 3D Scan Modelling on some props and characters which was great fun.

The film comes out on 1st of August this year which happens to also be my mum's birthday. Really looking forward to it.

Chocolate Render Test

This is a tset render of the chocolate project Jamshed and i planned to do. In the past post i showed the greyscale screengrab of the modelled chocolate and pack. I had done this light test render of a small cg scene for the chocolate which i did not put up before, and here it is above. Jamshed is going to simulate a chocolate sauce to land on the bars

At the moment more time is spent on Jamshed's short film and we hope to get back to finish this to make a sequence.

Jupiter Ascending Trailer:

Seems there is going to be some few Sci-fi movies coming out, this is the Jupiter Ascending trailer and its also coming out in cinemas in 2014 starring Channing Tatum and Mila Kunis.

This is another film I got opportunity to work on doing some 3d scan modelling with the nice team at Plowman Craven.

Edge of tomorrow Trailer:

Recently the Edge of tomorrow trailer (Original name of the Novel title is All you need is kill) has just been released featuring Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt, its coming out in cinemas next year 2014. From the feel of the film, hope it does well.

Its also one of the first feature films i've had experience working on, working with a good team at Plowman Craven film & Entertainment department, helping out on some 3D scan modelling for the film.

Really looking forward to the movie!
